Background: The present study was conducted to assess tuberculosis patients and complications of treatment. Materials & Methods: 120 tuberculosis patients of both genders were assessed. Modified kuppuswamy scale for socio-economic status was recorded. Complication of treatment was also recorded. Results: Maximum duration of treatment was 15 months seen in 14 patients and minimum was 1 month seen in 12 patients. The intensive phase of therapy was seen in 50 patients, while 44 patients were in continuation phase. Treatment was completed in 26 patients. Common complications were relapse seen 16 patients, aspergilloma in 4, bronchiectasis in 10, pleural effusion in 6, fibrothorax in 3, pneumothorax in 4 and TOPD/COPD in 7 patients. The difference was significant (P< 0.05). Conclusion: Common complications in TB patients were relapse, aspergilloma, bronchiectasis, pleural effusion, fibrothorax, pneumothorax and TOPD/COPD.
