Periodontal Diseases and Pregnancy

Oral health is essential for overall better health. Multiple physiologic changes occur in a women’s body during pregnancy. Some of these changes have an adverse effect in the oral cavity leading to gingival diseases during pregnancy and vice versa. The purpose of this review is to summarize the associationof pregnancy and periodontal disease.
