A total of 30 OSMF patients and 30 healthy controls were included in the present study. Complete demographic and clinical details of all the patients were collected. Diagnosis of OSMF was confirmed based on histopathologic and clinical signs and symptoms described previously in the literature.7 30 age and gender matched healthy subjects were included in the present study as healthy controls. Blood samples were collected from all the subjects and were sent to laboratory. Assessment of serum vitamin C levels was done using an auto-analyser.
