Management of Mucocoele in a 10 Year Old Female Patient -A Case Report with Review of Literature

Mucocele is a common pathologic entitiy in the oral cavity occurring due to blocked salivary gland. Mucoceles are painless but can be bothersome for patients to eating and speaking. Most mucoceles are visually identified. Only a few of mucoceles goes away without any special treatment, but most of mucoceles are removed by surgical process. The proper treatment can remove mucoceles without side effects. It is essential for a dentist to visually recognize oral lesions such as mucocele and for the proper treatment. In the present case report; we have reported a case of Mucocele occurring in 10 year old female patient treated by surgical removal and the result was no recurrence.
