Head and neck cancer are the sixth most common cancer worldwide. These cancers account for approximately 3% of all cancers and are nearly twice as common among men as they are among women. A role of diet, physical exercise and nutrition in cancer treatment is well established. This article summarizes the importance of nutrition and physical activity in patients undergoing cancer treatment. Key words: Diet, Nutrition, Personal care. |
