One of the prime goals of prosthetic therapy is to establish a physiologic periodontal climate and facilitate the maintenance of periodontal health. Food impaction is irritating outcome of certain prosthetic procedures. This is due to certain periodontal defects which are not taken care of before embarking upon prosthetic phase.
